Recently, we have been increasingly following news about fires on the roofs of buildings on which solar power plants are installed in the media. Experts agree that the rate of fires caused by solar power plants is quite low. Nevertheless, they emphasize that power plants are only safe if they are installed on the building in good quality and are regularly inspected and maintained.

In recent years, we have experienced a real boom in the installation of solar power plants in Slovenia. The boom in the field led to the fact that a wide variety of business opportunity seekers who had neither knowledge nor experience in this field began to deal with it. Pressure on prices has also led to the installation of panels of questionable quality.

Thus, errors are not excluded even in brand new power plants, which we can say from our own experience. When we were testing the new Mavic 3T (drone with a powerful thermal camera) on our brand new home solar power plant, we found that one panel was not working properly.
